Search engines also assist by providing suggestions of there own, and both of these are known as long tail search results. It is very important to identify and target these longer keyword phrases. After opening the Free Version of the Keyword Research Tool located below, type in a keyword or keyword phrase and the Keyword Research Tool will tell you exactly how many times it is searched for, and list the top 100 results.
You can then narrow the long tail search results by clicking on any of the top 100 results and find out specifically what potential customers are searching for.

What i have found is that, the keyword tools are good but, what is the commercial intent of the keyword, can i make money or is it sucking my flow dry, how long before you figure out the keywords are no good. just because a keyword has a high price tag on it may not produce one red cent.

Keywords are always helpful in searching google. Though you need to be very specific in putting the keywords and searching it so that the result of your research would be more congruent on what you are looking for.

The free version of Word Tracker is great for finding the primary and most searched for keywords. Just don’t overlook the long tailed keywords. Especially in a PPC campaign, the medium and long tailed keywords are most likely the most profitable.
